Mission Statement:

We are a league providing women the opportunity to play the game of baseball in the NY metro area.

Current objectives:

• Provide an environment where players are having fun playing and learning about the game of baseball.
• Teach players the strategies and skills needed to play the game.
• Start out our first season with at least 2 teams and 15 players on each team.
• Have at least a 12 game season from May to August.
• Have a fall season going into October for all who are interested.
• Offer practices once a week during the season for all interested players to improve their skills.
• Have pitcher and catcher practices during the pre-season to prepare players for success on the field.
• Have clinics during the year for any women or girls who are interested in learning how to play the game.

Future goals:

• Have a team in each borough of NYC. Then expand to include teams from Westchester, Long Island and NJ.
• If interest increases have a separate league in each borough and Westchester, Long Island and NJ.
